The Ferragamo spring 2009 collection presented by Cristina Ortiz featured body-revealing silhouettes and a strong emphasis on exposed skin. The lineup included backless evening gowns, thigh-high mini dresses, HotPants, and fitted dresses structured with multiple strap details positioned across the torso, shoulders, back, and neckline.
Several garments were constructed with voluminous proportions, including loose dresses and tops made from lightweight silk with a parachute-like drape. Belts appeared as recurring structural and decorative elements, integrated across collars, shoulders, and bodices.
